Our Programs

Kenzie's Gift services are free and designed to improve the emotional well-being and good mental health of children, young people and families affected by cancer, serious illness or bereavement in the family.

Our one-to-one therapy program for children and young adults can help reduce incidences of anxiety, depression, isolation, anger and other psychosocial issues associated with childhood trauma, and equip young kiwis with useful tools to help them cope at the time and in the future. We offer up to 12 funded therapy sessions with registered mental health professionals.

Our program is informed by current, evidence-based best practice for the provision of psychosocial care and support for children and young people, and is delivered by registered mental health professionals throughout New Zealand. You can check them out here:

We can provide families with our printed resource packs. Our grief kits, 'Memories are Forever' is a pack of information for young kiwis and families and contains helpful tools, resources and practical tips to support families through challenging times. You can check them out here:

The ‘Journey Kit’ pack is designed to help young kiwis and families facing a cancer diagnosis, with information, activities and tools to help them navigate the cancer journey. You can check them out here:

I knew I couldn't sort out these problems on my own. I desperately needed help. Kenzie's Gift has been wonderful. It's lovely to hear all of my children laugh again.
