Currently in Private Practice, Cheska has worked for 20 plus years in a variety of settings: Inpatient and Community Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health, Paediatric Diabetes, Mother and Baby Unit (Starship Hospital), Specialist NZ Family Court Writer, ACC Sensitive Claims and ACC Health, Secondary Education System (Guidance Counsellor and Teacher), Retreat Centre and Buddhist Hospice, Complementary Health, ProCare Health and Employment Assistance Programme.
